One of Mom's friends is having puppies (She usually calls them "babies", but she calls me the baby too, so I am thinking the words are interchangeable.). She's having 2 girl puppies. So Mom made a quilt for the puppies (don't tell her friend, it's a surprise). Seeing as I am a connoisseur of everything soft and snuggly, it was only fitting that I took this quilt for a test drive. I brought my trusty sidekick Elephant to help me. It was comfy. Then Mom said she had to wash it. Why? Puppies identify by smell. If she just leaves my smell on there, when I meet the puppies, they'll already know who I am. I don't see the problem.
